Pear Drops date back to the early 19th century and were traditionally made in Yorkshire. Known for their pear shape and distinctive two-tone colouring (or sometimes solid yellow), their unique signature fruity flavour actually comes from flavourings rather than real pears — a retro recipe that’s become a British sweet shop staple for generations.
