Aniseed Balls are a traditional hard-boiled sweet renowned for their bold, distinctive aniseed flavour and dark coloured shell. These classic sweets deliver a long-lasting taste that slowly develops as you enjoy them. Their hard and crunchy texture and aromatic flavour have made them a favourite.

Dating back hundreds of years, Aniseed Balls are one of the oldest traditional sweets still enjoyed today. The original confectionery-making process, known as panning, was originally developed in Europe and involved coating a single aniseed seed with multiple layers of sugar over several days. Popular throughout the Victorian era and beyond.

Ingredients:

Dextrose, flavourings, maltodextrin, anticaking agent: magnesium stearate; modified starch, colours: E129, E151; glazing agent: carnauba wax.
